Completion of a BSBA degree in Management of Information Systems has given me valuable experience in a wide array of business functions as well as a team based and case driven experience over four years. The strongest of my skills are in reading, math, and technology suites such as all Microsoft Office products. I have taught, under minimal supervision by the standard teacher for one year on the fifth grade level. I have tutored ESL, "at-risk," and conflict prone students in english, math, reading, science, and civics. A Little Bit About Me...

I have 40+ years of experience in the accounting field. The three certificates which I hold demonstrates the knowledge of the various aspects of the accounting filed. Most of my work experience has been in the governmental and non-profit areas. In 1992 and 1993 I taught an adult education course for Introduction to Accounting. Each class had 10-15 students each semester.
I enjoy seeing individuals grow in their understanding of new materials. I believe that most children can benefit from a one on one relationship to develop the interest and understanding need to exceed in any field.

I graduated from Wake Forest in 2008, double-majoring in Mathematics and Physics. I also took some courses in the Education Department, and substitute taught for public high schools and middle schools in Winston-Salem, NC and Metairie, LA. I have worked in tutoring programs for elementary school children approximately twice a week for a total of twelve months. I have recently learned HTML, PHP, and Javascript programming languages, and am the designer and programmer for the Facebook application Harry Potter House Sort.
I think educators must take into account the different ways in which students learn.
