Summer Math Tutor

My teaching style of choice is Demonstrator. I want to allow children to see examples and many different ways to complete a problem. I also would make sure real life application was involved in teaching students.

I have been tutoring professional for six years and teaching for five. I am certified by the state of Tennessee to teach secondary math. I have worked with all levels of students, from remedial to gifted. I have worked from age 7 through adult learners and had a positive impact at each age and level.
I spend much of time making the student understand that it is okay to feel behind in a subject and that the student should believe in himself. In high school, I was frequently the one that people came to for help. It was then that I realized I was extremely good at teaching.
