I have a Master's Degree in Special Education from Lewis & Clark College (1993) from Portland, Oregon. I am a graduate of Cetral Washington University, with a BA in Elementary Education and a Minor in Reading. As I have gone through my classes at Clover Park Technical College to become a para educator and I have work with the middle school kids at my job I have come to realize that I really enjoy working and helping the kids understand how to do new activity as well as help them out with their school work I really enjoy being around teenagers as well as younger age groups my goal is to become a para educator as well as a recreation coordinator in a middle school.

My teaching style involves being open and relatable while keeping he conversation related to learning and the subjects of importance. I feel like students respond best when they are in a positive work environment and are pushed to be their best. This involves teaching through the Socratic method, of forcing individuals to answer their own questions.
