My teaching style is very student driven. I take students interest in account when helping them. The ultimate goal of education is teaching students to overcome their weakness and teach them to use tools, so they can love learning. I was trained in the Socratic style, which seems to match well with inquiry-based learning, and that is how my classes usually end up. I knew I wanted to teach at grade 5. All my education from that time on was directed to become a teacher. During my graduate work at the University of Oregon I majored in Reading.
