A Little Bit About Me...

I feel that the relationship formed between tutor and student is as important as the information being taught. A sincere concern for people is the foundation for successful and influential teaching. I gladly spent extra time planning an English lesson if it allowed the student to connect better with the material. To keep interest levels high, I would teach a lesson and then create practice exercises around one of the student's favorite hobbies such as cooking, surfing, or music. These exercises aided comprehension and retention while providing a fun and enjoyable learning experience. More About This Tutor...

I have always loved to tutor. While attending NSU, I volunteered to tutor in the Student Center. Before moving to Florida, I tutored Elementary School children in all subjects in Brazil. I also tutored High School students during Summer School both here in Florida and in Brazil.
I love tutoring. I believe that everyone learns in different ways. I am energetic, easy going, and I try to make learning fun by playing games whenever possible and making up rhymes to assist in record retention. I connect with each student and really strive to understand and expand their learning style to maximize their potential.
