A Little Bit About Me...

I taught high school for one year and middle school for a year and a half. I was certified to teach social studies 6-12, though I have let my certification expire. I have worked with middle school students for the past four years in an administrative and service capacity. I am an ex-Member of the Florida House of Representatives and have informally many students at the middle school level. My degree is is in Business, but my passion is social studies and reading.

I've been a full time substitute teacher in the Martin County School District since 2007. During 2008-2009, I was a permanent substitute at Stuart Middle School. During 2009-2010, I was given a five-month assignment as an ESE facilitator.
