I have earned a Bachelor degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I have completed my elementary and high school completely in french as french is my first language. I have been tutoring on and off for the past 18 years and love the one-on-one interaction with the students. I am also very flexible with my schedule.
I enjoy working with teenagers (I have three at home) and try to establish a pleasant learning atmosphere. On the first meeting, we review grades, strengths and weaknesses in the subject. I help the student establish a main goal and discuss the steps to be taken to achieve this goal. I encourage my students to be in charge of their own success by doing extra work during the week and I support them in establishing stronger organisational skills.
