My approach to tutoring is that all students are capable of learning. Kids often benefit from a fresh perspective and it is my job to make them more confident again. I try to explain to the students that once the rules are understood it becomes simple to get to the final result. To start my tutoring processing, I try to identify what is needed to improve the defiance of the student. Then I try to see what method works best for the student. Thirdly, I go over the rules for the subject and write those down for the student to use as a guide to solve problems. And fourthly, we work at similar exercises of my own or from the book. I also provide references to material that can help advance the student knowledge.
