I feel that I can always learn something new everyday. I always wanted to teach but didn’t originally go that route. I have a BA in Speech Communications. I then went on to take some Sign language classes, but never felt complete. After about 5 years, I decided to follow my heart and go back to school and get a Teacher of the Handicapped Certification. I have had many experiences with a variety of disabilities including Hand in Hand, Special Olympics and teaching children with various disabilities in a classroom and one on one setting.
