I am certified teacher and have taught for the school district for six years. I have taught kindergarten for two years and first grade for four years. My first two years of teaching first grade I worked with retained and struggling students in reading, math and writing. I also was an instructor of the district's after school program where I was able to work with students K-5 to provide homework and tutoring assistance. I enjoy working with struggling to students to build their confidence and ability in areas that they need assistance.
