As a Georgia Southwestern State University Graduate, I was able to obtain many opportunities to work with students of different grade levels and developmental levels. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and have experience with many different grade levels. I had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of 2nd grade students during student teaching. A Little Bit About Me...

As a substitute teacher I never really was able to develop a specific style of teaching. Each teacher had their own way of doing things and each class was different. However, I feel the best way for anyone to learn be it adult or student is to let the student take the lead. I would give them the instructions as to what needs to be accomplished, let them do the work, and be there for any questions or assistance that would be needed.

My teaching style is to first evaluate what might work best for the student. I truly have had success working with children and I enjoy being able to make a difference. I enjoy knowing that the I can always learn something new and I pass that perspective on to the children that I am helping.
