I enjoy teaching children of all ages. Learning can be fun as long as you can relate it to something that the child is interested in. My teaching style is to first evaluate what might work best for the student. I truly have had success working with children and I enjoy being able to make a difference. I enjoy knowing that the I can always learn something new and I pass that perspective on to the children that I am helping.
After receiving my teacher certification from the state of Georgia, I taught the 4th grade for 3 years. This grade is inclusive, so I taught all subject. During those 3 years and even later I tutored reading and math to a variety of students.

My first tutoring experience occurred during my attendance at South Georgia College (SGC). At SGC I was a tutor for Student Support Services and was responsible for providing academic tutoring to my peers in various academic subjects. After graduating from SGC, I continued to provide tutoring services with the Sylvan Learning Center and the America Reads program at the University of Georgia.
