As a Summa Cum Laude graduate, I have always valued academics and education. I began to share my drive for excellence through tutoring in high school. I believe that positive reinforcement, patience, and a genuine desire to see one’s students excel is the best way to success. I feel that the only way to get through to a child is to be his or her friend first and foremost, and to treat him or her as an equal. I love being both a tutor and a friend. A Little Bit About Me...

My idea of teaching is to first explain the topic and then show some examples. After this, I find it important to have the student show me that they understand the topic by them explaining it back to me. It is this cycle from showing to practice that helps reinforce the learning.
