I hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting. I am currently holding a Master's degree in Vocational Education. I have been teaching for 20 years. I have taught for 16 years middle/junior high school and for 4 years high school. I teach accounting and electronic accounting concepts. After I graduated high school I went to a community college just to get the feel of college. I decided to major in speech because I was interested in correct speech. Not only how words were pronounced but also what mechanisms that are used to produce correct speech. I went on to Delta State University to pursue my Bachelor's in Speech and Hearing, and might I add they had a spectacular program. I learned a lot more than what makes a person have a speech disorder. I tutored at the local elementary school for two summers straigth and absolutely loved it. Children are a joy to work with becuase they are eager to learn. I feel that if you make it interesting for a child then their learning experience becomes something that they won't forget.
