I do not have a ton of experience. I am a college student currently attending Utah Vally University. I love to work with people. I am currently studying Behavioral Science. My comments on tutoring Psychology : I did take a psychology course in my senior year of High School. We went over the basic Freudian principles as well as others.

Throughout high school, I had trouble trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I graduated. I took many classes that ranged from Weight Training to Biology. I took many Art classes in which I excelled at. I then took some Computer Technology classes and I loved it. So I figured I would put the two together and took Graphic Design classes. I loved it. I am very competent in using all sorts of Graphic Design programs. I got my first guitar around 8 years ago and just picked it up and learned it. I have been learning ever since. I personally, have taught many people the basics of guitar and gave them the tools to excel in music.

I use the Orton- Gilingham multi sensory approach.

I Have worked for the Davis County School district for 12 years. The last few years I have been working intervention for students who are not performing at grade level. I have learned that not all kids can learn the way they are taught in school. My 8 year old is dyslexic. I Have studied the Orton-Gilingham multisensory approach to reading and spelling. I have also learned to engage children in activities that are fun and creative. I will not be doing the same teaching style as there school.

I had students who were mostly visual learners and needed everything written down or printed on handouts; I had students who were mainly auditory learners and needed to have everything said to them, sometimes two or even three times in different ways.
