After graduating in 1996, I opened my own tutoring service in Dickson, TN. I tutored individuals from public schools and home school in Math, Reading, and several other subjects needed until 2001. At this time I left Dickson and moved to Clarksville, TN and tutored with A+ Math tutoring intil 2006.
Seeing the look and smile on the face of a student that finally grasps a concept, or realizes they have just read on their own for the first time, OH What a Feeling!!! Throughout my life I have been tutoring and teaching my peers. In elementary through high school, teachers would ask me to take time to explain one-on-one the coursework with my classmates. In college I naturally became the go-to person for help with coursework. My official experience, however, did not come until I was in graduate school. There I taught laboratory sections in animal and dairy science as well as tutored my classmates after hours.
