I graduated from high school in 2003 with honors and graduated in 2007 from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. Throughout my schooling I have attended multiple classes in reading/writing, science, history, computer/I.T., foreign language, creative arts, business and math. For two years I was involved with the Big Brother program where I worked with an autistic student. I’m currently employed at US Bank where I work as a mutual fund analyst. I’m also on the training committee at US Bank where I’ve been gaining real world experience helping others.
I enjoy teaching people subjects that I understand. My preferred subjects to teach would be anything math, finance and accounting related. A Little Bit About Me...

During my high school years I would volunteer to help children through various charities and church. When I attended college I became an Early Childhood Education major and volunteered in preschool and elementary schools. During my Student Teaching in Des Plaines I was in complete control of a Kindergarten classroom and later a 2nd Grade class. After graduating I began working in a daycare where I created activities for children as young as 3 years old and activities and homework help for elementary students as old as 13.
When I am teaching I am very patient and try to organize the lesson or my assistance in steps. I'll have the child read the problem or question, ask what they know about it, see if they understand the question and proceed. When I traveled to Costa Rica the first time to earn my TEFL certification, I knew that teaching was my vocation. I love teaching, and I have learned from teaching students of all ages how to apply my skills to meet the needs of my students. The most important thing I've learned is that you have to find ways to entertain your students while teaching them at the same time.
