I have previously had three years of experience tutoring private school students in New York State. I worked with students first grade students all the way up through seventh grade students in various subject areas. I was available three nights a week to help students improve homework skills and study skills in all subject areas. Currently, I am a therapeutic support staff and am currently in a second grade classroom supporting students with ADHD symptoms and learning disabilities. It is very important to let children know that there is no wrong or right way of doing their work, as long as it is done correctly. They also need to know that their methods are their own. Children needs reassurance. When A childs' work is not done to one's full potential, it is not my strategy to make them feel like less of a child.
