A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of the top chiropractic school in the world, I have achieved a high level of education. I have a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Through out the years I have taught 5-8th graders in various subjects, as well as helped teach for a national board review company to chiropractic students all over the country in a variety of topics. I was also the editor-in-chief for the Palmer Triune, helping me obtain an excellent understanding and appreciation for the English language.
My teaching style is different for each student. I have never considered myself a student that things come easy to. I always had to find a way to relate to the material, and when I tutor that is exactly what I try to achieve with each student. Sometimes all it takes is it being explained one more time a different way.

To be a teacher is to be a guide: A guide knows the landscape, has the right equipment, and can quickly adapt to a changing climate. I know academia and the kinds of assignments that professors give and the quality of work they expect. I also know the kinds of mistakes that students too often make. I have the right “equipment:” years of experience teaching students the ins-and-outs of crafting – and completing – research projects and a “pack” of useful tricks for breaking down seemingly intractable problems. My experience has taught me that an effective learning experience (the “climate”) is grounded in good communication and an ability to be flexible and creative.
