My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : All I will need to know is what you are needing help with and I can provide it for you. Given that math can be seen as dry subject, I look for ways to help the individual be engaged in working out problems and understanding math's applications in everyday life. If I see it as necessary, depending on the individual's goal's, I use a metronome to keep track of the individual's progress. If you have any questions, please, ask!

My approach is one that is peculiar to each of my students. As an auto-didactic learner, I believe that everyone has their own way of learning. Therefore, I use an approach that I feel works well for each of my students, with regard to whether a student thinks abstractly or concretely, for example.
