I love to teach high school students and adults that might be struggling. I know they have the ability to learn but each in a unique way. I am hands-on, patient, kind, laid back and even a little unconventional. My goal is to reach into the students strengths and help them bolster their weaknesses through discovery. I worked as a math tutor as a student worker during my last 3 years of college while working on my BS in Computer Science until 2004. I had previously studied at the Milwaukee School of Engineering and had an extensive background in Math. I taught at a Catholic High School, Messmer, for one year after graduation until 2005, before returning to ITT as an adjunct instructor. I became a fulltime Math tutor 2 years ago and hold that position today. I have instituted weekly study groups in 6 subjects, math reviews for incoming students, and bridge classes for students going to the next level of math as a skill check and review.
