My comments on tutoring Dyslexia : I have dyslexia and have learned how to control it for the most part. I am more then willing to hp others learn how to control it as will as help them with any of the subjects listed here.

My comments on tutoring Dyslexia : Based on personal experience, not special training

I allow my teaching style to mold itself to each individual student, finding methods of communicating the information that best suit the learning style of my student. I favor a holistic approach to learning, believing that education should be of the whole person. If a student learns how a skill in his tutoring session can be applied in real life, then his or her perception of the subject may fundamentally improve.
I am a graduate of Tennessee Temple University, with experience tutoring at Tennessee Temple University, as well as University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, in various topics, including biodiversity, mathematics (up to pre-calculus), history, and American Sign Language. I have been a Florida certified public school teacher since August, 1982. Although all of my teaching experiences have been in Special Education, the experiences are diversified. A Little Bit About Me...

While working with diverse deaf/hh and hearing students I have come to realize that every student is different. In realizing that, I know that no two students can be taught the same way. Two skills that I have developed and feel are crucial when working with students are patience and creativity.
