Children say that I am so patient and relaxed. One little girl asked me last week, "how come I don't grate on your nerves? My mom says I grate on her nerves." Well, no child has ever "grated on my nerves" :) Children know I care about them and we develop a mutual respect for each other.

My comments on tutoring English ESOL : Most experienced with Japanese EFL speakers

I have studied and spoken Japanese for around 12 years, speaking at an intermediate level. I understand the intricate workings of the grammar and vocabulary and can thoroughly teach how to speak and understand from logically comprehending its inner mechanisms (I.E. thinking in Japanese) which will make speaking easier. It is easier than it sounds, and simple to understand. A Little Bit About Me...

Having graduated with honors from a top university, the greatest asset I offer comes from my real world teaching experience. During my tenure as a substitute I have taught at all levels, from kindergarten to middle-aged adults, in all subject areas. Even as a young person I was involved with teaching others; I first began as a teacher's aid in high school and later I served as a tutor in college.
