I began teaching at Hesperia Christian in 1995. First, I substituted and then taught part-time, two to four subjects a year: Advanced Math and Drama, 5 years; Biology, 1 year; and Advanced Drama, 3 years. When my son started seventh grade, I began homeschooling. I taught Earth and Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Grammar, Vocabulary, English Composition, British and American Literature, Geography, American and World History, Ethics, Social Studies, Government, Sign Language, and Bible. I have been tutoring math and sciences since I have been a senior in college. Most recently I have worked tutoring math and science as a personal tutor in the LA area. I have also taught Biology and Earth sciences at East High School in Salt Lake City, UT for a year, and 2 years at New Community Jewish High School in West Hills, CA teaching anatomy and physiology and Chemistry.
I teach hands-on with many demonstrations and hands-on activities. I have been told by some of my past students that I made science fun for them and that science used to be their worst subject, but with me as their teacher they found it to be their favorite subject.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a B.S. Degree in computer engineering and minor in mathematics which enabled me to be very knowledgeable in math, physics, biology and chemistry. In addition, I have tutored math to my peer students and was employed in an elementary to tutor math to younger students. During last couple of years I have tutored many students and I was complemented on my ability to help them solve problems.

Teaching is a hobby for me this is why I tutored for free. My desire is that every student willing to learn should provided with all the necessary tools needed and the ones who are not willing be encouraged. This is because with quality education the sky is the limit. So in my teaching periods, I tend to first of all understand what category the student falls in.
