Learning starts with a desire, followed by perseverance

I like to tailor my teaching to the students, as evidenced above. With the orphans, I focused on games to engage them, as they had classes all day before and were in their home. With regards to tutoring, I feel that it is extremely important to understand and draw on the student’s learning style. As a kinesthetic learner, I frequently promote tactile learning while also introducing elements of visual, auditory, and/or reading/writing exercises, depending on what works best for the student. Since each person has his or her own way of learning, I like to be creative with teaching in order to find a style that best suits the student's needs.
