Learning starts with a desire, followed by perseverance
I like to tailor my teaching to the students, as evidenced above. With the orphans, I focused on games to engage them, as they had classes all day before and were in their home. With the women, I focused on grammar and vocabulary building, emphasizing on communication skills. Our reading comprehension class is discussion based. With the students in the US, I focused on academic writing, as I was tutoring for my College.
I have a high level of experience teaching in multiple fields. I have trained horses, which takes non-verbal communication, patience, kindness, clear directions, and strong leadership skills. I have taught horseback riding lessons for 7 years, which has taught me excellent communication skills, lesson-building skills, and flexibility.
