Following that, I went on to enroll in a unique program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the Professional French Masters Program (PFMP). The goal is of the program is to combine French with a given area of concentration, which allowed me to continue honing my language skills while studying immigration. This culminated in a 4-month internship in Montreal, where I worked with Haitian immigrants in a community center.
