Throughout my teaching experiences, I have striven to assist both teachers and students to use words thoughtfully to be a critical reader of the words of others. The key to being an effective teacher/tutor is finding a way to engage the student so that they are active in the learning process. With a degree in Special Education and a Masters in Education I have learned about how children learn best. I have a Florida Teacher's License for teaching ESE (Exceptional Students Education), Spanish, Elementary Education, and other subjects. I taught in the Ocala public school system. I have terrific math skills and have taught all core courses to ESE students. I have helped older students prepare for their GED exam as well. Currently I teach Spanish online.
