A Little Bit About Me...

I have always known that I wanted to work with children and for the past 11 years, I have worked with children in various settings. I love teaching and enjoy seeing the light go on when something is learned! I am capable of delivering concepts in many different ways according to students' learning styles. I believe that teachers are capable of touching and changing lives. My goal is to be able to make a difference in my students' beliefs and lives. A Little Bit About Me...

As an engineering graduate from BYU, I have extensive training in physics and math, as well as a solid foundation in how to apply these studies to real life situations. Problem solving is a strong suit, and I feel the principles gained from engineering studies apply to a host of fields where the primary objective is solving problems. As a volunteer in Japan for 2 years and also as an engineer with Toyota, I have developed comfortable conversational Japanese in both personal and scientific settings. I provide a "gaijin" perspective on how the language is structured and how best to approach learning it.
