My teaching style consist of explaining the information, asking open ended questions and re-explaining the information again. If I notice the student is having trouble answering the questions then I use a different teaching approach. I try to relate the questions to something the person has experienced in his/her culture.
Since 1988 I have taught or tutored various levels of students from primary to secondary grade levels. As a Substance Abuse Program Case Manager, I conducted psycho-educational group sessions related to addiction/recovery issues and worked in a juvenile’s detention/commitment program.
