Marine Biology is one of my top subjects! I have a BS in Marine Biology from the University of West Florida. I have been teaching Marine Bio for 2 years at a Clay County high school. I also have 4 years of experience as a fisheries biologist for the state of Florida.

I graduated from the University of West Florida in Pensacola with a Bachelors in Science in Marine Biology. I have worked as a fisheries biologist for four years before I became a teacher. I went through an intense alternative certification program that allowed me to learn two years of education into a six month period. I taught 8th grade science in Desoto County for five years. After moving to the Orange Park area, I began teaching Biology and Marine Science at a Clay County high school. This is where I am currently teaching and have been for almost three years.

I have earned a Bachelor degree in Biology. I have a year of mentoring children in middle school I am currently working on an alternative program to obtain my teaching certification. I will obtain my teaching certificate by summer 2010. During my mentoring, I helped students with Math & Science. More About This Tutor...

I use several different forms of teaching that cant be placed in to one description. I find it to be more effective if i allow the students to show me something they are pationate about wether it be money, candy, heros, anything. I enjoy not being limited to one form of understanding for a subject and being able to find a new way to teach it.
I have specialized in middle school and high school tutoring in the areas of; Earth Science, Physical Science, Anatomy, Biology, World History, American History, and Social Studies for five years.
