I adapt my style to your individual needs. Some students prefer to use a textbook, but with others I will provide appropriate study materials. I like to get to know my students so that we can focus only exactly what you need to improve as quickly as possible.
I have years of experience teaching and tutoring English as a second language, both in the U.S. and overseas. My students have included high school students, community college students, university and postgraduate students, and working professionals of all ages. I have taught speakers of Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Arabic, Farsi and Turkish. I am also an experienced tutor in law, having taught both law and paralegal students in substantive law, legal writing, test taking skills, and LSAT preparation. I also work with business students who are taking business law and business ethics classes.

A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my education at UCLA, I took an avid and broad interest in all subjects, and finally chose to complement a degree in International Development with a smattering of engineering physics and multi-variable calculus. My work and extra-curricular experience has been broad and challenging. I've researched crime statistics for a professor's book, helped lead an international development student group, volunteered in Guatemala, studied abroad in Ghana, and currently work as a Head of Marketing for a small company.
