I’m Lebanese which makes me fluent in Arabic, French and English. I hold a masters degree and several certificates in Nutrition. My teaching style is very interactive. I believe in reading out-loud and having discussions about what things mean and how they may relate to other aspects of Biology. I believe that everyone has a different learning style and I will always try to find new ways of getting the point across to someone. I like students to be comfortable, enjoy their experiences with me as much as possible, and learn not only the material they need to study, but also habits and practices that will help them with future studies.

Since completing my formal degree training I have worked in several capacities in the field of education. I taught inner-city young adults in Washington, D.C. in all GED subjects. It is my experience that an instructor delivers more learning when a student has an interest in the subject. "Inspire rather than require," has far greater efficacy in delivering information. I tend to make it fun, interesting and encourage student participation and feedback. Reward, a basic human desire, engenders craving for learning. As each individual’s qualities are unique, I try to determine if one is a visual, auditory or tactile learner. Analogies often make good teaching aids.
