I was a senior scientist - engineer for 37 years. I retired to care for my comatose wife at home, and she died a few months later. This situation has left me open to new directions. I’m Lebanese which makes me fluent in Arabic, French and English. I hold a masters degree and several certificates in Nutrition. My background may not be in teaching or languages but there is no better way to learn a language than from a native! In my high school years we took Arabic courses every week for 12 years. My comments on tutoring Biology : High School or College Level

Evergreen offers very tough, year-long, interdisciplinary scientific programs. In on program we studied General Biology, General Chemistry, Algebra-base physics, and pre calculus at the same time, focusing on how they directly related to one another. The following year I participated in a highly intensive year-long upper division program that followed similar guidelines, where we studied Bio Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Organic Chemistry, Immunology and Microbiology. I was always a great student and I took my scholastic career very seriously. My exam scores were good and I always got full credit & great evaluations (Evergreen doesnt do grades).
