My teaching style is based largely on the priority academic student skills for Oklahoma. I like the one on one aspect of tutoring. I enjoy teaching, but I really like tutoring because I get to know the child and am able to help him/her with his or her specific area of need. I generally try to remain as friendly as possible with the tutee so that he/she can relax and learn in a comfortable environment. I work on a first-name basis and try to make sure that the student is LEARNING, rather than merely finishing his/her homework.
