During college I had written many psychology research papers and solved an abundance of challenging math problems. I have worked at Mosaic in Axtell, NE for three years. Here I have educated clients on daily living tasks; and provided assistance with daily cares and activities. I train them to be as independent as possible. From July 15, 2010 up until September 15, 2010 I was a substitute teacher for a special education teacher who was on maternity leave. I taught the kids reading, math, oral comprehension, and vocabulary. I started college with the intention of becoming an elementary school teacher. I completed all coursework at Chadron State College Chadron, NE with the exception of my professional semester. I graduated college in the summer of 1985 with two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Guidance/Counseling and the other in Recreation. I worked as a certified teacher in the state of Florida in an alternative school for emotionally disturbed/behavior disordered boys. I have 4 children and I have home schooled all of them to varying degrees. Currently I am home schooling my youngest two children and they are in the 11th grade.
