Experience Summary
I have always had an interest in math, science, and social studies along with a desire to help people. Therefore I decided to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. I have 5 years of experience working within a classroom as a Para-educator. My last internship was within a middle school social studies classroom, I had classroom sizes of 31 students. My first fulltime teaching experience was within a middle school math and social studies classroom, I had classroom sizes of 18 students. In the summer of 2009 I began working on my Master degree in Instructional Technology.
Teaching Style
I am dedicated, resourceful, and a goal-driven professional; I posses a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development to every student. I believe that every person has the ability to learn, but it takes a special teacher to find the best way that each student can learn. I believe that all are individual and deserve to be treated as such. Students need to know that they are special and capable of reaching their dreams, as well as know that someone is willing to help them.
