My style is considered out of the box, meaning that if the standard method does not "click" with him/her, then I enjoy finding something of interest to them, to relate that to the subject at hand. Keeping a students interest is paramount to keep them enthusiastic about learning. Along with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, I have many educational experiences in the area of science, math, history (to name a few). For several years I was the assistant in an Elementary School Geography Club. I taught from the year 2000-2013 in Gwinnett County Public Schools. 2013-2014 tried Georgia Pre-K; which I enjoyed but was unable to live on the salary. I moved to a charter school and discovered that was not the place for me. I am now in Fulton County and love it. Should the mood be down at first, I would just come up with something fun, educative, something that can help to boost someone's IQ score. I have also used the NCLB Method, No Child Left Behind Method. In it, we use examples for every question, and evaluate the students every week to enhance greater learning.
