Failure is not an option!

I love working one on one with people and showing them lots of examples that help them understand. I truly want people to understand and master the concepts of each subject. I am patient with others when understanding doesn't come immediately.

I have worked at Utah Valley University Academic Tutoring Lab, tutoring Science and developmental math from June 2009 to August 2014. I have private tutored Latino students, disabled students, and all other students that "dropped in" to the Science Tutoring Lab at UVU. I have taught and tutored geology, meteorology, oceanography, and been a Teachers Assistant for chemistry and meteorology. I have been a private tutor for Isotope Geochemistry and Chemistry. I was in the top 10% of my class at an elite college preparatory school and earned a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago. This has exposed me to great teachers and a variety of different teaching styles. I studied cello and piano formally for 7 and 10 years, respectively, and taught cello for 2 years.
