My comments on tutoring Social Studies : Social Studies is a personal favorite subject for me to both learn and teach.

I began my career teaching music to students in grades K-8. I have always loved the Special Needs students and thus chose to pursue my Master's degree in the Special Education field. My first Special Ed. assignment was for ADHD and LD students in 7th grade Math and Language Arts. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style can be called old-fashioned: the best results come from patient, focused, disciplined time on task. To learn math one must work a variety of problems, and practice them diligently. My strength as a tutor is my ability to explain the algorithms in a way that students can easily grasp. This includes the vitally important requirement of why the problem is worked the way it is, not simply how.
