Based on my experience, I believe that anyone has the capability to learn and expand their knowledge on a subject - if they put the work in. My goal is for my students to begin to "learn how they learn" so they can develop the self-confidence to begin solving problems on their own. I have enjoyed teaching Chemistry, Computer Programming and Freshman General Science for the past 20 years in Missouri and Kansas. I like to use current events and computerized resources to help students learn. I love science, but more importantly I know how to help students understand concepts rather than memorize.
