Don't tell me 2+2=4. Tell me WHY 2+2=4.

Although I wish I could count the endless amount of time I spent playing teacher as a child, I know parents are looking for more expierence than an eight year old and her dolls. I have tutored children, ages ranging from eight to fourteen, off and on for three years. I have expierence and am personally more comfortable helping with English and math centered tutoring for any grade level but am able to help with other elementary level classes.I've had the privilege to help with the passionate and the difficult and have been able to produce satisfactory results for all parties involved.
My teaching style differs with each child. I enjoy helping others learn and master their educational skills by sitting down with them and taking them step by step through the process with which they need to apply to their task at hand. I am a patient person who makes the learning process fun for those who are seeking help. I believe that if a person takes the time to show another how to apply the basic rules of application to the problem or task at hand that that person will have a better understanding of what they are doing and find that through this process the task will become easier for them to obtain.
