Even outside of creative writing classes, I have to write multiple essays for every class I take, and I always score well on them. I like to see examples of what the person is having difficulty with in order to pinpoint problems and then work on them from there. I am currently an English major, specifying in creative writing, at Virginia Tech. In high school, I took both of the offered AP English courses and passed with a 4 on both. In college, almost every class I have taken has been English-oriented, with regards to either literature or writing. In Writing... I generally give my students a mild assessment to see how I can best help them. I also conduct all of my own lesson planning. The first thing that I typically help students do is get pass the creativity block (if needed).
