During my undergraduate career I traveled to Costa Rica for a total of 6 months as part of a study abroad program. After completing my undergraduate degree I returned to Costa Rica for 5 months to teach English at a language institute. In May of 2013 I graduated with my Master's degree in Spanish from UNCC. During my Master's I was a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. I am fluent in sign laguage, I am in school now, so I am not certified yet but I can teach what is and or has been taught to me. I also have a spouse that is deaf and has taught me alot as well so I have hands on experience as well. Learning is more effective if it is fun and relevant.

Depends on the student learning style. Some learn better with visual aid, some learn better bases on real life example or application. Teaching style is accommodated according to each learner
I'm currently working at a psychiatric treatment facility working with teenagers with behavioral, psychological, and emotional problems as a counselor. My job is to help these unfortunate teenagers and providing helpful advices to help them coping/improving their treatment. A total learning experience

I believe every student can learn, and as a result incorporate a variety of learning techniques to address a variety of learning styles.
