Learning is more effective if it is fun and relevant.

I'm currently working at a psychiatric treatment facility working with teenagers with behavioral, psychological, and emotional problems as a counselor. My job is to help these unfortunate teenagers and providing helpful advices to help them coping/improving their treatment. This mean that I actually interact and talk to each teen and get to know them in person. In doing so, I'm able to gain better insight on how to help them more affectively and personally.
Depends on the student learning style. Some learn better with visual aid, some learn better bases on real life example or application. Teaching style is accommodated according to each learner

A total learning experience

Since coming to the Charlotte region in 1996, I have had a wide variety of experiences as a language teacher, having taught in public, private, homeschool, summer school and tutoring situations. Although my primary focus is teaching French, I have also had the opportunity to equip students in Spanish I and II to continue with their language studies. I also believe, based on Gardner's research, that students have multiple intelligences.
