I am a certified Hearing Itinerant Teacher with 3 years of teaching experience. I use Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS) to establish motivation and classroom management. I have been teaching for 29 years. I have a Master's in Education and I am currently finishing my Speech degree. I have taught preschool special education, deaf education/hearing impairment K-5th grade and K/first grade. I can teach many different styles to suit different learning styles. I truly believe in the mastery technique. My 9 year old has ADD and severe dyslexia so i have to employ many different styles to meet her needs. Being a great teacher is all about knowing and understanding your student and how they learn.
