This is one of my top subjects! LSAT is one of my top subjects!I took the LSAT in 2009 and scored in the 99th percentile, Since then I have tutored over 6,00 individuals at various TestPrep companies. At this point, I know everything about the test, I'm quickly spot where my students need to to learn, and quickly and effectively show them the concepts that they are missing. My students appreciate it as illustrated below. "I approached David after self-study for the LSAT left me hitting a ceiling with my score that I was pretty desperate to break. David was really good at identifying exactly where I was getting stuck and noticing patterns in the questions that I got wrong that I would never have noticed myself (hence the ceiling) and giving me very focused solutions. I also go the sense when he was teaching me that he was really tailoring his approach to teaching me how take the LSAT both to what skills I needed and changes I needed to make on the questions in order to maximize my score and moreover to who I was as an individual. I particularly appreciated the fact that he cared enough to ask about what outside influences could affect my test performance. In my case: insomnia. And actually offered advice! (That proved helpful enough that I actually entered the test well rested for once!) I think the fact that David was personable, patient and encouraging made me a lot more receptive to what he was teaching me than I otherwise would have been. Thanks to David, I ended up scoring a 169 on the LSAT and I will be attending Harvard Law School in September 2018. –L.H.M" What sets me apart? My knowledge of the test, my experience teaching it, and my empathy for my students. What should you do? Contact me. It's free. It'll save you a lot of time and effort in the long run.

Empathetic yet super disciplined. I make students unafraid of complex methods by breaking them down to their basics and showing how each part any complex idea is in fact a simple thing. I teach mastery of method through practice, I use PowerScore materials, and I understand that all of my highest scorers have at some point in time cried (or come close to it) because they were working so hard. I have the greatest respect for my students and inspire them to wow=rk their hsrdest. I really love teaching and finding different ways of using analogies and similarities to explain difficult concepts. I have been very successful in teaching the sciences and mathematics courses in an understandable way. I believe that everyone is capable of learning the material, it simply needs to be presented in the correct way. Some students are more verbal learners, others are more visual learners. I use plenty of paper to demonstrate ideas and draw diagrams to help make the material more understandable. As an MIT graduate, I was particularly driven to excel in science and mathematics courses so as to be able to apply these to engineering and technology problems. I subsequently obtained two doctorate degrees: one in medicine and the second in law. I am currently working on the development and patenting of medical devices to improve medical care for patients.

Overseeing recent high school graduates’ transformation into college students has been a gratifying experience. I take a hands-on approach using in-depth discussion, analysis, in-class exercises, peer review, and revision. As a teacher my role is both to instruct about accepted concepts and methods for reading and writing and to act as a resource to help students improve their skills. Prompting them with questions and encouraging them to keep refining their work, I witness their realization that what I am asking them to do is not impossible. I give my students the tools they will need to succeed throughout school and beyond. For the past three years, I have been working as a senior lecturer in freshman composition at Suffolk University. In addition to my teaching experience, I also volunteer regularly with 826Boston, a non-profit tutoring and writing center in Roxbury, MA. From week to

My experiences have taught me that a cookie-cutter teaching style is not suitable for every individual. My responsibility is to quickly identify the students weaknesses and turn them into their STRENGTH! I am a every interactive teacher. It is my strong belief that anyone can succeed with the proper motivation, reinforcement and tools. My tutoring style emphasizes the student as an active participant in the learning process. With an approach that is clear, reliable, friendly, and personal, I look forward to helping a student succeed in their academic career. I do not have one specific teaching style, but rather have several styles that I implement based on each students specific needs. I understand that finding the right tutor can be confusing and time consuming. My specialty is to offer a customized experience to each student. I recently graduated 'Summa Cum Laude' from East

I believe in tailoring my teaching style to individual students that I tutor. The two most important techniques I have used are translating academic concepts into everyday examples that students can readily understand and using positive reinforcement to help them towards their goals. Especially in the fields of math and science, I have found that learning by analogy and real world examples provides the surest path towards success. Having an excellent and extensive educational track record, I feel I am well positioned to assist current students achieve their goals. I have a JD from NYU School of Law, which helped me master such skills as reading comprehension, analytical thinking and persuasive writing. I have an MS from Yale University and a BS from William and Mary in chemistry (with a focus on organic chemistry) which has provided me with broad experience in the fields of math and
