My comments on tutoring Geography : Based first and foremost on my studies of geography in academia, I have also become an expert in geography both in modern times and in the geography and national border-lines of the past due to my extensive and long travels through America, Central, Latin & South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, learning the histories of each region as I passed through. The only place I have yet to visit is Africa.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduate from UNLV with a degree in Biology-Ecology. I took classes up to Calculus II, Biochemistry II, Organic Chemistry II, Microbiology and Physics II for example. I believe that each child learns in his or her own way and you, as a teacher, must provide opportunities for all students to learn. I believe teachers must be flexible and willing to change plans to accomodate the needs and interests of the class. I believe that children need to be given a good foundation especially in reading. Reading is the most important skill because without reading students will have difficulty in all other subjects.
I have been teaching for 15 years. If children are taught to read the right way they will not have problems later on. Difficulties should be caught early in order to help students overcome them. I have been tutoring for two years.
