My job is to find the method that will best enable students to self-actualize their learning. A success is converting the child's approach and passion for learning. I have a versatile background that began with two business degrees and progressed to a professional career in purchasing and sales. I am currently enrolled at the State College of Florida to complete my AA in Liberal Arts. I have 62 credit hours and plan to graduate next semester. Education is important but so are real life skills and what happens outside of school. I am a licensed real estate sales person in Florida. I was also a human resource coordinator. During the course of my career I have had the opportunity to help others. Real life is what matters. Someone could be a 4.0 in college, but do they have what it takes to make it outside the classroom. I would love to make a difference in a child's life. I feel I have a lot to offer with my continuing education, job skills and real life skills. The ability to motivate and empower others and really caring about people.

Excellent with children, I can adjust my teaching style with the personality of the child. No child learns the same, so it is important to create a learning plan that builds trust and respect between the child and tutor. It is important for all children to have an equal opportunity to learn. This means that I must teach in various styles or to multiple intelligences so that each student is able to understand materials taught. In the appropriate environment and with appropriate materials, it is possible that each child can be a success, given that the teacher understands that not all students learn in the same manner. With degrees from one of the nations top universities, I have many experiences working with students. I have worked with students through Jumpstart (an AmeriCorps program), as a youth camp specialist, and as a after school program coordinator at an elementary school in Naples. I am currently working on a graduate degree in School Counseling. I believe that helping youth succeed to be their best is very important and must be a priority.
