Born and raised in Germany! I have completed the German "Mittlere Reife" and when coming to the States in 2006 I finished the American High school and received my Diploma.I started of my degree in Psychology and German to pursue a career in Teaching. However changed my mind 2 years later and switched majors to Accounting and Finance. My passion in Math and Business won, yet it didn't stop me from teaching German in a Private school for 3 years. As well as private tutoring on my time off.
I have a wide array of teaching styles, from traditional teaching all the way to the fun way TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling).

I have lived in Germany for 17 years and have spoken German for 22 years. I attended kindergarten and school in Germany and received my 9th grade and 10th grade diploma in Germany. I moved to the US at the age of 17 and finished HS with a diploma at Missouri Military Academy. I served in the US Army on active duty for 3 years and got out FEB2012. Since then I have tutored my wife in receiving a German degree and have worked on a BS in Criminal Justice. I took the Army DLPT for German with a score of 2+/3.

I am very good with children in all age groups and have been lucky to have the priviledge and tutor English for a neighbors child. In addition I am fluent in German and Polish and am passionate about languages and would like to teach German.
For about five years I have been voluntering my time at my Church and helped single partens, while attending their seminars, and spend time with their children just being creative and working on arts and crafts. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is dynamic, it revolves around the learning styles of the student. However I would consider myself to be an exciting and motivating academic facilitator. Consider the following scenario: Anne is taking German 101. She loves German, however has failed two of her midterms, subsequently she asked for my help. So I introduced myself to Anne and assured her that German is easy and she was capable of passing her upcoming exam. The next step I used, was to determine her learning style, I did this by asking questions about her preferences to learning. I determined that she was an auditory learner there for we made audio tape of our tutoring sessions and Anne was able to achieve her goal of passing her exam.
